Slow down and enjoy all the geological aspects as well as the forest. Views off mountainsides and down by a river. Well worth going out of your way - with a full tank of gas. Full review by davebob123

What is the best time of year to do this ride on a side by side? When does the snow usually melt?
A:
July through September is best. Going East to West is best. Beware after the Magruder crossing the road gets very steep, narrow, rough and rocky until you get to Poet Creek.
