Maps are very well done for this park. The trail is marked well. Hike to top of Evergreen Mountain is great. Saw mule deer very close to the trail Full review by Redwings88

Don't even bother on weekends - WAY too crowded and mountain bikers had turned the trails into racetracks. Full review by boydnorton

45-60 mins. Put it in your google maps. Basically I-70 west, Evergreen exit. Drive through Evergreen (it is a ways from exiting the Hwy. You'll go by a big lake on the right (this lake is nice to walk around), and then there is a fork in the road, go right. Left goes into old town Evergreen (nice to walk around and good places for lunch). There should be a brown sign with the name on it but you take a right at the signal. I think it is Buffalo Hill Road. The nice looking library will be across the street where you turned right. Drive up the hill a good distance. There are 2 parking lots. The first is the East and it is usually full because it is closest to the area where they rock climb. Keep going and you'll go over the hill and have a great view of the mountains. Then you'll see the west parking lot.
