Anheuser-Busch's CEO is asking the company's distributors and partners to drop the term "domestic" and replace it with "American," saying it better recognizes the industry's identity.

Busch, wants to drop "domestic" from the marketing of his company's beers and instead label them as "American." He says the change would accurately reflect the pride of the brand. The U.S. CEO of beer maker Anheuser-Busch is feeling particularly patriotic and wants to rebrand U.

People don’t buy “domestic” cars or salute the “domestic” flag, so they shouldn’t drink “domestic” beer. At least, that’s what Anheuser-Busch’s CEO thinks.
