President Donald Trump picked Dearborn Heights Mayor Bill Bazzi to be ambassador to Tunisia. Bazzi had endorsed Trump last year, saying he will end wars and unauthorized immigration. President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that Dearborn Heights Mayor Bill Bazzi will be his next ambassador to Tunisia.

Bazzi, who has been in office since 2021, was the second mayor in Metro Detroit to be selected by Mr. Trump for a federal position.
