Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen made the most important hire of his young career this week, tabbing Green Bay Packers linebackers/running game coordinator Anthony Campanile as his new defensive coordinator.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have found the team's next defensive coordinator after moving to hire former Green Bay Packers linebackers coach/defensive run-game coordinator Anthony Campanile on Thursday night. Campanile replaces Ryan Nielson and marks the third defensive coordinator the team has had in three seasons.

“Anthony Campanile represents exactly what we want to be as a defensive unit and football team,” Head coach Liam Coen said. “He brings an aggressive defensive mindset and a system that is adaptable to our players and allows them to play fast and physical.”
