The world number three from Spain defied the difficult windy conditions on Stadium Court to deliver a dominant performance against a player who had won their past two encounters

World no. 3 Carlos Alcaraz is safely through to his fourth consecutive Indian Wells quarter-final. The 21-year-old faced Grigor Dimitrov in the fourth round and produced a convincing 6-1, 6-1 triumph in an hour and 14 minutes.

Carlos Alcaraz loves the conditions at Indian Wells. The Spaniard has won 14 matches in a row at tennis’ “fifth grand slam,” and has looked imperious in the 2025 iteration of the tournament.  Alcaraz is a massive -750 favorite at Bet365 to make it 15 in a row against Grigor Dimitrov on Wednesday night.

The Spaniard, who dropped just six games in each of his first two matches, delivered a standout performance of the tournament under the windy evening conditions on Stadium 1. Alcaraz's exceptional athleticism prevented Dimitrov from breaking through his defense in an entertaining match.
