Elon Musk has become a major boogeyman for Democrats, with some taking aim at Tesla.One Democratic senator recently sold off his Tesla to stick it to Musk.But some Democrats on Capitol Hill have invested in Tesla in recent weeks.

Organizers who are part of a campaign called the “ Tesla Takedown ” said they are hoping to spur people into non-violent action against Musk to voice their discontent with Musk’s actions as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency. In his role, Musk has led an aggressive campaign to dismantle parts of the federal government.

A “Tesla Takedown” is in the works for Saturday as Musk continues to be polarizing and the future of Tesla is “murky.”

Tesla has become a lightning rod for violent attacks and vandalism in the months since CEO Elon Musk joined the Trump administration.

The vandalism comes as Tesla has become a prime target in the ongoing opposition against Musk and his role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency under President Trump.
