Pete Carroll is back in the NFL as a head coach just one year after getting fired by the Seattle Seahawks. He has joined Tom Brady and the Las Vegas Raiders, who have their work cut out for them competing in a loaded AFC West division.

Seahawks VP of coaching operations Matt Capurro is leaving the team after 15 years to reunite with Pete Carroll and rejoin the Raiders. Was with Carroll at USC in 2009 and in Seattle from ’10-23, and worked for Al Davis in Oakland from ’04-08.

There will be a new linebackers coach in Las Vegas. But he's not new to Pete Carroll. John Glenn spent six seasons as the linebackers coach in Seattle under Carroll from 2018-23 and spent last season with the Washington Commanders as assistant special teams coach.
