India's IndiGo airline operator Interglobe Aviation reported an 18.6% drop in third-quarter profit on Friday, as the rupee's sharp depreciation outweighed steady air travel demand and lower fuel costs.

India's JSW Steel reported a bigger-than-expected drop in third-quarter profit on Friday as lower prices and tepid demand continued to hurt the country's top steelmaker.

InterGlobe Aviation reported an 18.32% year-on-year decline in net profit for Q3, totalling ₹2,448.8 crore, down from ₹2,998.1 crore a year earlier.
