The stars came out for FireAid and so did wallets — the massive benefit concert last week to raise money for those affected by the devastating LA-area wildfires is expected to raise more than $100 mil

The Jan. 30 concert took place at both the Kia Forum and the Intuit Dome and was watched by more than 50 million viewers across 28 streaming platforms.

The FireAid Benefit Concert estimates that over $100 million has been raised for Los Angeles fire victims and fire prevention initiatives since last Thursday's concert as donations still pour in. Over 50 million viewers streamed the over six-hour benefit concert last week on 28 broadcasting partners.

FireAid so far has brought in $100 million and counting, MusiCares and Grammys brought in upwards of $24 million through funds brought in from the award show telecast and other benefit activities.

With fundraising still ongoing, proceeds raised from the FireAid benefit concert are expected to exceed $100 million. FireAid funds will support the Los Angeles-region’s immediate needs and long-term recovery from the recent wildfires made possible through the overwhelming generosity of those throughout Southern California and around the world.
