US technology giant Google has agreed to buy Israeli cyber security company Wiz for $32 billion, its biggest acquisition thus far, as it aims to boost its cloud portfolio in the highly competitive segment.

Google clinched a deal for its biggest-ever acquisition, announcing it will buy cloud-security platform Wiz for about $32 billion in cash. The acquisition of Wiz is expected to close in 2026, subject to usual closing conditions including regulatory approvals, according to Google. Once closed, New York-based Wiz will join Google Cloud.
