The Pittsburgh Steelers would like to bring back quarterback Justin Fields, but his market will be the biggest dictator if that will come to fruition. In the meantime, they are talking to Fields and Russell Wilson about a potential deal.

It’s been a few weeks since the Steelers’ 2024-25 season ended with a playoff loss to the Baltimore Ravens. And the focus has already moved to rebuilding (or reloading, depending on your team philosophy) for the upcoming season.

And in 2023, that was the case with the Pittsburgh Steelers and WR George Pickens. Then in 2024, that caught up to both of them, as Pickens only got worse in his behavior, and still received little repercussion.

While Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin seemingly remains a big supporter of veteran quarterback Russell Wilson, some within the Steelers reportedly favor re-signing 25-year-old Justin Fields after he went 4-2 as a starter this past fall when Wilson was recovering from a lingering calf injury.
