Fragaria chiloensis, the South American strawberries ... Unlike the pineberries, their seeds are usually white to light green, so you can tell them apart. They are much smaller too.

Fragraria virginiana and Fragraria vesca are the most commonly available and are native to the continental United States, as is the less frequently grown beach strawberry (Fragaria chiloensis).
