In a viral clip of the awkward exchange, the "When Can I See You" singer - looking dapper in a jewel-encrusted suit jacket and black shades - is only a few words into his answer to a question while speaking to The Associated Press when the 26-year-old pop star walks by behind him.

Chappell Roan, who was this year's breakout star, received six Grammy nominations for 2025's ceremony and is also set to perform during the event.
