Another girls high school basketball season ended last week with the state semifinals and championship games on the campus of Michigan State University, and several athletes added to their legacies, while others made a name for themselves on a statewide stage.

When Miss Basketball finalist Alli Zajac struggled in Tecumseh’s 52-43 semifinal win over Freeland (six points, five rebounds, 1-of-8 shooting) it was her younger sister, 6-foot sophomore Addi who stepped up with a 16-point (6-of-9 shooting), 14-rebound effort.
