Monster Hunter Wilds ' second open beta was set to take place across two weekends with the first running from February 6 to February 9. Of course, the outages meant that PS5 players couldn't access the beta or its online features for a essentially third of its runtime, but it seems like Capcom might be making up for it in the future.

Currently, the beta is scheduled to run until 7PM PT on 9th February. However, a second test will start at 7PM PT on 13th February and run until 7PM PT on 16th February. Our guess is that Capcom will just extend the test for an extra day, but we’ll obviously let you know as soon as we know its plans.

Beta feedback has prompted a lot of weapon changes in Monster Hunter Wilds’ full release, and one weapon may end up being its biggest winner.
