With 59 March Madness victories, Calipari is the only active coach among the top five — he has a two-victory lead over Michigan State’s Tom Izzo (57), whose Spartans are also still dancing. Calipari’s first NCAA Tournament win was in 1992 with the Minutemen. His most recent was an upset over Rick Pitino and St. John’s in the Sweet 16.
