SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - A woman was taken to the hospital Tuesday after rescue crews had to pull her out of a storm drainage tunnel after she got stuck inside. Rescue crews were called out to downtown San Bernardino around 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday morning, after witnesses heard a woman calling for help.

Firefighters were called to the county courthouse after hearing a woman crying for help from inside of an underground storm drain system, firefighters said.

San Bernardino County firefighters rescued a woman who had become trapped in a storm drain in downtown San Bernardino. The rescue took place on Tuesday morning, just before 10:30 a.m. The responders arrived after receiving a report from witnesses about a woman trapped in a drainage tunnel and asking for help at the intersection of Arrowhead Avenue and Fourth Street,

The woman, who was "found unclothed above the waist," was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, though she "had no obvious injuries."
