While the U.S. TikTok blackout may have lasted only hours, the app has still not made a return to the iPhone's App Store.

CapCut is a free video-editing platform created, owned and operated by ByteDance. It was launched in the U.S. in 2020. It was the second most downloaded photo and video app in the Apple App Store after Instagram, according to USA Today.

The iPhone 15 and 16 models generally sell for between $1,200 and $1,500 on eBay. When the app was first banned iPhones with TikTok installed were listed for as much as $1 million during the app's 14 hour blackout, Ukrainian technology news outlet ITC reported.

According to Apple, the list of apps owned by ByteDance or its subsidiaries that the company has taken off its App Store include TikTok, TikTok Studio, TikTok Shop Seller Center, CapCut, Lemon8, Hypic, Lark - Team Collaboration, Lark - Rooms Display, Lark Rooms Controller, Gauth: AI Study Companion and MARVEL SNAP.

Three days after ByteDance's TikTok went dark and then was quickly revived in the United States, users that deleted the app were anxiously checking iPhone and Android devices to find it still unavailable to be downloaded again.

While TikTok has been restored for millions of American users after going dark, the app still isn't available on Apple's App Store or Google Play.
