Digg, a news site that popularized up- and down-votes online, is making a comeback over 20 years after it launched, with the help of AI and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
Digg’s new leaders say they want to use artificial intelligence to “handle the grunt work” while allowing humans to focus on building meaningful online communities.
The founders of Reddit and Digg are relaunching the platform, which was sold in 2012, as a website and mobile app in the coming weeks.
