A Ukrainian-controlled general cargo ship has been barred from European ports after failing a series of port state safety checks. The Paris Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control (Paris MOU) said the 5,100-dwt Maranta (built 2000) will not be allowed to dock for three months.
