“Yesterday was tough,” said Travis Sanheim of Friday’s trade deadline. “In saying that, we’ve kind of been struggling the last couple games. Much of the same today, I guess. It’s just frustrating right now. Obviously we’ve got to work through this, and we will work through it.”
Philipp Grubauer returned to the net for the Seattle Kraken on Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia, making his first appearance since his conditioning loan with the Coachella Valley Firebirds. Grubauer posted a solid 5-2 record in seven games with the Firebirds.
BOTTOM LINE: The Seattle Kraken will aim to stop a three-game road skid when they play the Philadelphia Flyers. Philadelphia is 15-15-1 in home games and 27-28-8 overall. The Flyers have gone 8-12-2 in games they serve more penalty minutes than their opponents.
