The Cincinnati Bengals must lock up superstar wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase with a long-term deal in 2025, and one NFL analyst sees them doing just that. He projects a record-breaking $145 million deal for Chase.

The Cincinnati Bengals may have a void to fill in their wide receivers room during the 2025 offseason, as Tee Higgins is hitting free agency and isn't guaranteed to return. With that in mind, one NFL analyst has the Bengals taking a wide receiver in Round 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft.

CINCINNATI — ESPN Analytics voice Seth Walder dropped his top-100 NFL MVP rankings for the 2024 season this week and Cincinnati had three players make the list: Joe Burrow at No. 3, Ja'Marr Chase at No. 8 and Trey Hendrickson at No. 12.

The 25-year-old switched agents midseason and is now represented by Rocky Arceneaux, the same agent that Ja'Marr Chase has been with for the past four seasons. Negotiating with Arceneaux moving forward is expected to be much more reasonable.

Having completed two contracts in Cincinnati now, Davis-Gaither is headed into year six next season, and, frankly, is on the open market in free agency and could land with a club where he can play more at the linebacker position.

The Bengals have a generational talent at quarterback. Joe Burrow has publicly campaigned to keep his favorite targets in the fold. He’s even hinted at modifying his contract so Chase and Higgins can stay.
