Kenya has deployed heavy security at its border with Ethiopia after an attack by armed men in what authorities describe as cross-border clashes. Interior Minister Kipchumba Murkomen on Monday said the government was collaborating with authorities in Ethiopia to find the missing people.

The Kenya Red Cross announced on Monday that it has collaborated with the Ethiopian Red Cross and is working with both the Kenyan and Ethiopian governments to conduct a search and recovery operation along the Kenya-Ethiopia border.
