Nazem Kadri is off the board. According to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman, the Calgary Flames have made it crystal clear to opposing teams, the likes of Kadri, and defencemen Rasmus Andersson and Mackenzie Weegar are not available in trade conversations.

The Flames appear to be confident in their core group as a report says that Calgary will not be looking to trade Rasmus Andersson, MacKenzie Weegar or Nazem Kadri.

In this case, however, the 34-year-old centre is thrilled to be credited with a helper. Kadri is among the ambassadors for the Kruger Big Assist, which aims to make the game of hockey more affordable, accessible and inclusive for all Canadians.
