Britain's Emma Raducanu is out of the Abu Dhabi Open after losing in straight sets to former Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova in the first round.

Emma Raducanu suffered a first-round exit for the second straight tournament on Tuesday, falling in straight sets to Marketa Vondrousova at the Abu Dhabi Open.

Tuesday's first-round match at the Abu Dhabi Open featured two one-time Grand Slam winners who have battled injuries against each other. Emma Raducanu and Marketa Vondrousova faced off for the third time on tour.

Emma Raducanu suffered a third straight defeat in the opening round of the Abu Dhabi Open. The 22-year-old was beaten 6-3 6-4 by former Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova to add to her losses to Iga Swiatek in the third round of the Australian Open and to Cristina Bucsa in Singapore last week.
