For the second time this week, Kent State University students made it clear that Senate Bill 1 will hurt academic freedom.

While proponents of SB1 say it will restore free speech on campuses, critics fear it will erase history and limit diversity.

Kent State University students plan to gather Thursday afternoon to protest Ohio Senate Bill 1 which would ban diversity initiatives and reshape Ohio’s higher education.
