While Cinderella teams are fun, it’s usually not wise to bet on them. The lowest seed to win March Madness was a No. 8 seed, which happened all the way back in 1985 when Villanova upset No. 1 seed Georgetown in the finals. A No. 8 seed is also the lowest seed to reach the championship game.

Prop betting markets for college games are prohibited in Arizona, although you can bet on other March Madness markets there. Arkansas has no restrictions on college sports betting, including props. Colorado prohibits college player prop bets. However, you can bet on game and team props.
