ATLANTA — Sunday, Feb. 23 marks five years since the fatal shooting of Ahmaud Arbery, the Black man who was killed while jogging after being chased down by a white father and son in south Georgia.

People gathered in Southwest Atlanta in remembrance of Ahmaud Arbery. On this day, five years ago, Arbery was shot and killed while jogging in Glynn County. It was later classified as a hate crime.
