BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge man accused of rape on LSU’s campus was arrested and charged. An affidavit said LSU police officers were called to a dorm on campus shortly before 3 a.m. Jan. 18. Officers met the victim who reported a man she met at a bar earlier that evening forced himself on her and raped her.

The suspect, 18-year old Ali Jaffar, was arrested by campus police on Monday, and charged with third degree rape.
