Baker is one of two people killed in Montgomery over the weekend. On Saturday night, a 17-year-old boy was killed and a man wounded in a shooting in the 1200 block of Eastern Boulevard. No arrests have been announced in either crime.

Police and fire medics went to responded to the 1200 block of Eastern Boulevard Saturday night in reference to two people shot, she said. They found Douglas, who was dead, she said. An adult male victim sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to ahospital for treatment.

A weekend shooting in Montgomery left a teen dead and a man injured. Police and medics responded at 8:26 p.m. Saturday to a report of two people shot in the 1200 block of Eastern Boulevard. Sgt. Tina McGriff said 17-year-old Jekobi Douglas was pronounced dead on the scene.
