PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A woman was killed on Tuesday after she was struck by a U-Haul driver who allegedly fled a crash scene in Philadelphia, according to police. The incident started with a minor collision around 4:30 p.m. at Kensington and Allegheny avenues.

A woman died after she was struck and killed by a U-Haul truck in Philadelphia Kensington neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

A woman walking down the street in Philadelphia’s Kensington section was fatally struck by a U-Haul truck after the driver “lost control” and jumped a curb on Tuesday afternoon, Chief Inspector Scott Small said.
