A pilot of a small plane was hurt after crashing in rural Indian River County on Thursday, according to local officials.
The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday it along with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol conducted an operation to detain criminal illegal migrants.
The pilot, who was the only person on board, was taken to the hospital. His name has not been released at this time.
