The Seahawks are also hiring John Benton to be their offensive line coach. Scott Huff was in that role last season. Huff was handpicked by previous OC Ryan Grubb, who has since joined the Alabama coaching staff. It’s no surprise that the Seahawks decided to part ways with one of Grubb’s assistants.

Seahawks to hire John Benton as OL coach
Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that John Benton will be hired as the team’s new offensive line coach. Benton held the same post with the Saints in 2024 and he’ll be joining offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak and quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko in making the move from New Orleans to Seattle.
