Two-year Boston College contributor Elijah Strong is now hearing from the NC State basketball recruiters. First-year NC State basketball head coach Will Wade may not be fully familiar with the landscape of the ACC yet, but it seems that the 42-year-old appears to have interest in bringing in a player with some experience in the conference.

The transfer portal window is set to close on April 24 after being open for 30 days, which is 15 days shorter than the 45-day period in previous years.

The 6-foot-7, 230-pound Greensboro, North Carolina native joined North Carolina for his senior year after playing two seasons at Morehead State, one year at Western Carolina and one year at Georgia Tech. He was one of a few players who committed to the Tar Heels out of the transfer portal with the hope of providing depth in the front court.
