Rodney Terry’s time at Texas is ending. According to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello and CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, the university’s men’s basketball program will move forward with a new head coach. Terry has led the Longhorns for nearly three seasons,

Sean Miller, previously at Xavier, is set to become the new head coach for the Texas Longhorns men’s basketball team.

Terry took over for Chris Beard in the middle of the 2023 season and led the team to an Elite Eight appearance but his final season was wrought with up-and-down performances, leading to his ouster. He was 62-37 overall and 27-27 in conference play.
