Division 10 crews from Stanly County joined Division 2 crews in Carteret County, supplying 10 extra trucks and plowing snow and ice off the roads to ensure drivers' safety.
The only way to get to Ocracoke is by ferry or airplane. When the snowstorm hit, ferry routes were suspended to the island.
