In just one month, multiple aviation incidents have taken place around the United States. January 2025 was an unsettling month in the aviation industry. Multiple plane crashes, collisions and other incidents occurred involving both commercial and non-commercial jets.

The crew “safely aborted its takeoff” at the Texas airport due to a “reported engine issue” around 8.35am, the FAA added. Passengers deplaned the Airbus A319 onto the runway and were bused back to the terminal. The flight had 104 passengers and five crew members on board who were due to take off on a flight to New York’s LaGuardia Airport.
