The Belmont Tower and Carillon is an iconic structure on the campus of Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. The Tower is listed in the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Belmont Mansion registration [ 2 ] and is prominently featured in the university logo.

Two hundred yards south of the Belmont Mansion stands the historic Bell Tower, which was used as a water tower on the Acklens' original estate and as a signal tower during the Civil War. The current Bell Tower includes a total of 42 bells weighing more than three tons and is one of only five carillons in the state of Tennessee.

Adelicia Acklen opened the estate to the citizens of Nashville to enjoy the zoo, as no public zoos existed at the time. As part of the gardens, she had 800-900 roses planted in front of the old water tower that is still on the University Campus.
