When you move into your home, your landlord/agent must lodge a bond lodgement form (Form 2C) with the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) to confirm your tenancy has started. We will send this form directly to your landlord/agent.

Use the Bond Lodgement Web Service to lodge single bonds and the Bulk Bond Lodgement Web Service to lodge and pay for multiple bonds in one transaction. The Bond lodgement should be used when: Only tenants who have contributed to the bond and the property manager/owner should fill out this form.

Fill out this form to lodge your bond. Bond money and this form must be sent to the Tenancy Services Centre within 23 working days of the tenant paying it to the landlord. Please read the important information on the back of this form. If you have a separate tenancy agreement for a room in the property please supply the room number.

Only tenants/residents who pay bond, and the property manager/owner, should fill out this form. Where possible, tenants/residents and property managers/owners should lodge the bond using the RTA’s Bond Lodgement Web Service at rta.qld.gov.au instead of this form.

Please complete, sign and lodge the Bond Loan Form 2c with the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) within 10 days. If the form 2c is not lodged with the RTA within 10 days, the bond will not be paid by the department.
