Jun 16, 2020 · The Phoenix Zoo is located in Papago Park at 455 N. Galvin Parkway. By car, take the 202 to Priest Drive, which becomes Galvin Parkway. Head north, and turn right at the first light after Van Buren.

Phoenix Zoo is a privately owned, nonprofit zoological park on more than 120-acres of land, and is located in Phoenix. Founded in 1962, it includes more than 2.5 miles of walking trails divided into four different trails, and requires over three hours to see the entire zoo.

The Phoenix Zoo has four major themed areas, or "trails", where visitors can experience exhibits representing different areas of the world and their native wildlife: the Arizona Trail, the Africa Trail, the Tropics Trail, and the Discovery/Children's Trail.
