Benji's creator, Joe Camp, calls the new Benji the very best ever! When she's not making movies, Benji lives with Joe, his wife Kathleen, and their three children. "She's one amazing dog," says Joe.

The new Benji finished filming Benji Off the Leash, her first movie, in August of 2003. It was released theatrically on August 20, 2004; DVD and VHS were released on December 28, 2004.
