There are three public boat launches located in Orange Beach. Two are part of the State Park system, and one is owned by the county, north of the Intracoastal Waterway. All three have paved parking. Boggy Point Launch. Located at the end of Marina Road, off Highway 161.

ALDOT is currently building the new Intracoastal Waterway Bridge, which is expected to be completed in Spring or early Summer 2026. The new bridge will be a modern structure that meets current engineering standards and will provide improved traffic flow and access to The Wharf and surrounding areas.
