Windows will not let me install the Adobe PDF reader
Jul 27, 2023 · Thanks to your tips I have been able to switch out of ‘S’ mode (it’s permanent) and install Acrobat. AND print a downloaded document without multiple circuits of pfaffing which my previous “device” required; it was a Microsoft Surface! Why have I been paying annual subscriptions to Microsoft for years.
Acrobat PDFMaker and Save as PDF - Microsoft Community
This morning (7 May 2022) the Save as PDF is gone from the file menu and the PDFMaker tab is gone from the ribbon in both Word and Excel. I have two computers and they are gone from both. The PDFMakerCOM add-in was listed as Active. Unchecked it, closed Word, opened and checked it again, but no change. Tried reinstalling Acrobat, no help.
