Feb 15, 2005 · Hey guys and gals! New to this site but wanted some latest information on Keller Bay near Olivia. Fished there a couple of times the last week or so and have had very little success. Some I have asked this past week have same result. Water is in great shape considering surrounded bay in Lavaca area is very fresh from run off.

Dec 6, 2005 · carancahua/olivia Both bays are good for fishing if you know the right spots. As far as boat ramps go, there is a good one in front at Olivia.

Jun 21, 2015 · I went out olivia and looped around to carancahua. Water was rough but i would say it was worth it! Managed 3 keeper red and 5 trout on lives shrimp under a cork! Tight linez!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Feb 23, 2016 · Can you take a boat up in that lake and if so where are the boat ramps. Where are boat ramps located for the Victoria Barge Canal? Is Green Lake fresh water or salt water. Can you access it from the Victoria Barge Canal? Its a shame I'm from Victoria but never go that way. Always go to Olivia or POC, or sometime farther down south.

Sep 21, 2019 · Just down the road is Keller Bay (Olivia) which has much better fishing. There is also multiple areas you can wade fishing from the bank. I'll attach a video below if a wade we had in Keller just off the kayak launch.

Jun 14, 2018 · I can make it out yonder from the east bay ramp in about 30 min depending on swell. Be careful around Oliver (**** Island), just b4 Hotel Point (there’s a pillon sticking up about 1’ from old well), and halfmoon reef area.
