Platinum's big issue has always been that they constantly bleed talent so seeing them undone by it is poetic really. Taura is prolly sitting comfy at Nintendo or Square-Enix right now. Dec 13, 2024 · Nintendo doesn't need PlatinumGames for Bayonetta. It's owned by Sega. They could probably just get Clovers to develop it with a similar deal they had with PG. Also, Astral Chain is wholly owned by Nintendo, so they could also get Clovers to develop that. This of course is assuming they would want to make that move.

Dec 13, 2024 · Relink was poached staff from PlatinumGames, not the actual studio after development shifted internally. Also, 1 of the games you are counting is Sol Cresta which is a pretty small title. The Bayonetta spinoff was also kind of small and finished alongside Bayonetta 3.
